DKB commenced on what has been a long a fruitful relationship with a specialist bank in Birmingham City Centre two years ago.
Unity Trust Bank, a commercial bank with a social conscience, initially looked to us to support development of their people with telephone techniques, utilising our knowledge and experience in high profile contact centres globally. We collaborated with senior management to create a bespoke leader journey where the workshops were interactive and engaged both the learners and in turn the customers and business.
As our relationship continued to develop, we were invited to deliver workshops on Performance Management and were impressed that the delivery was planned in line with half yearly appraisals, which made perfect sense for all concerned.
Following these interventions, one of our Trainer was asked to undertake a role as an Interim Manager in their Customer Operations function. Her role was to support the journey their people would take as they make changes to processes and structures, and reposition the bank for continued growth. This was great news for all concerned and provided a superb opportunity to help build a learner journey for each role, as Unity Trust Bank continued raising capability across their business by investing in their people.
It is extremely rewarding working with such a forward-thinking client, who truly understands and delivers on investing in their people. Our latest work is delivering an ‘ilm level 3 award in Leadership & Management’ course, plus ‘Understanding Change’ in the workplace. We currently have a cohort of nine of the brightest and loveliest people you could want to meet. Investing in people certainly seems to be paying off for Unity Trust Bank.
